Hey Jane, this reminds me of one of my values:
2. Uncertainty: I acknowledge my own ignorance and cultivate doubt in my own beliefs.
It’s a good thing to do, but don’t let it cripple you Jane!
It’s perfectly fine to unleash your current thoughts and understanding confidently, and be utterly wrong when you do it. Nobody is right 100% of the time after all. As long as you’re not purposely deceiving people I see no harm.
And I wouldn’t worry about defending yourself in the “comment section.”
The real thing you should do is what I see Tom Kuegler doing… come out with a follow up piece on how you were wrong about it.
That’s my plan.
Of course I’d have to admit I was wrong first. 🙃
