It’s easy to get too emotional about how others respond to your content. The thing you should remember is that both positive and negative engagements boost you in the algorithms. So really, the moment anyone responds to something you’ve posted… you’ve already won.
But as you point out, there’s the whole matter of values and purpose that makes things sticky.
