Shannon, this is super duper relatable. As a father of two young kids who is trying to make it freelancing, I feel you!

It’s hard to get paid well for writing unless you do copywriting for businesses it seems like. I’m pretty sure that’s what Sean Meyer does.

At some point though I decided I couldn’t write for someone else. It would suck the fun out of it for me.

But the funny thing is I don’t feel the same way about design and illustration. I’m more than happy to exchange those services for pay.

Anyway, it’s definitely a juggle in a jungle. Oh well, time to sharpen our machetes!
